Booking & cancellation terms

Thank you for choosing to book with me. A few simple terms so we both know what to expect.
1. Booking
When you submit a request on this site, it's a request, not yet a confirmed appointment. I'll get back to you within one working day to confirm a time. Your booking is only confirmed once you have a reply from me by phone, text or email.
2. Health and suitability
Before your first treatment I'll ask you to complete a brief consultation. Massage isn't appropriate for everyone all of the time — please tell me about any medical conditions, recent injuries, surgeries, pregnancy, or medications when you book. I may suggest a different treatment, or ask you to check with your GP first, if I think it's the safest choice.
3. Arriving for your appointment
Please arrive a few minutes before your start time. Late arrivals will receive the remainder of the booked slot rather than additional time, so the next client isn't delayed.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
I keep a small, personal practice, so notice really matters.
- More than 24 hours' notice — reschedule with no charge.
- Less than 24 hours' notice — a 50% cancellation fee may apply.
- Missed appointments (no notice) — the full treatment fee is payable.
Of course, life happens — illness, family emergencies and genuine surprises will be treated with common sense.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at the end of your treatment by card, bank transfer or cash. Vouchers can be redeemed against any treatment of equal value.
6. Gift vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, non-refundable, and can be transferred to another named person at your request. Please present the voucher (digital or printed) at your appointment.
7. Your conduct
Massage is a therapeutic treatment. Any inappropriate or threatening behaviour will end the session immediately, with the full fee payable, and no further appointments will be offered.
8. Insurance and qualifications
I'm a fully qualified massage therapist with professional liability insurance. Copies of my qualifications and insurance certificate are available on request.
9. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The most current version always lives at this address.
